What is beloved hero?
Beloved Hero is a clothing brand inspired by my experience as a first-generation Nigerian in Black America. As a youth, this presented many a challenge as I attempted to distinguish my respect for my heritage from my love for Black culture. This proved to be impossible and the pieces I create (along with the stories I tell) represent the bridge between the dualities.
